Kathmandu. There is some influence of the Westerly wind in Nepal at present. At present, fog is taking place in some places of the Tarai region of the Sudurpaschim Province. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be partly cloudy in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati Province, Gandaki and Lumbini Province and in the mountainous region of Karnali and Sudurpaschim Province.

There will be fog in some places of the Tarai region this afternoon. The weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. The weather will be partly cloudy in the mountainous region including Koshi Province while the weather will be clear in the rest of the country. Light rain will occur in some places while light snowfall is predicted in high hilly and mountainous region of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Similarly, there will be fog in some places of Tarai region tonight. The weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous region of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces while the weather will be clear in the rest of the country. Light rain will occur in one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division has forecast partial impact of fog in the Tarai part of the country in the morning as well as to air and road transport, urging people to adopt precautions.
