Kathmandu. The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has directed the companies to clearly mention the company symbol and the financial year while sending the notice related to dividend and interest distribution. According to NEPSE, this provision has been implemented to make the information sent to the investors more transparent and clear.

According to NEPSE, companies should disclose the required details while sending information related to dividend, interest or other benefit distribution to their shareholders through email and SMS. In the case of mutual fund units and ordinary shares, the stock symbol of the company, the relevant financial year and the dividend rate percentage should be clearly mentioned.

Similarly, in the case of debentures or debentures, the stock symbol, financial year and interest rate percentage should be mentioned.
