Senior advocate Pant donates money for son’s wedding feast to Galeshwor Ashram

Kathmandu. Senior advocate Sushil Pant and his wife Kumuda Pant have donated the amount spent on their son’s wedding feast to the Galeshwor Ashram in Devghatdham.

He said that the money spent on the feast without feasting at the wedding has helped the Ashram for the protection of Sanatan Dharma and for the development of culture and culture that creates a lasting impact on the society.

On Friday, youngest son Suyog got married to Kriti Ghimire. After the marriage, they handed over a cheque of Rs 40 lakh to the Peethadhish of Galeshwor Ashram to Mahamandaleshwar Swami Atmanand Giriji Maharaj.

He has been donating such amount to charitable and public welfare organizations without wasting unnecessary money on auspicious activities like marriage and bratabandha. Earlier, he had donated Rs 20 lakh to the Cancer Care Foundation and another Rs 20 lakh to the Punyaarjan Foundation.

Galeshwar Ashram is an organization dedicated to spiritual practice, cultural preservation and social service established by Ashtanga Yogsiddha Yogiraj Ishwaranand Brahmachari (Galeshwar Baba). The Ashram has been constructing and running a Veda-Vedanga school at Devghatdham to provide food and accommodation for the seekers, saints and pilgrims living here, keeping in mind the welfare of the homeless and abandoned elderly.

The Ashram has also been running a charitable hospital for the treatment of the elderly and seekers living in Devghatdham and a guest house that can accommodate around one thousand people. The guest house offers free food and accommodation. The hospital has been providing health check-up and medicines free of cost to the patients. The Ashram has been regularly conducting religious rituals and other religious activities according to the date.

Pant said that he chose the Ashram to donate for the development and preservation of Sanatan religion, culture and culture as the Ashram has been carrying out commendable works in the field of spirituality, culture and social sector.
