Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor Prof. Dr. A preliminary meeting was held between Dr. Bishwanath Poudel and the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) Seventh Review Mission and Article IV Advisory Team on the Extended Merger Facility (EC).

Executive Director of the South-East Asia Voting Group (ECF), Edwan Hakim, was also present in the meeting.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the objectives of the mission, the main topics of the Article IV related to Nepal and the overall status of the upcoming review process.

The participants exchanged views on Nepal’s current economic situation, policy priorities and potential areas for international cooperation.
