Kathmandu. Police have arrested three persons on the charge of stealing from the rented room of senior Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leader Balendra Shah Balen.

The arrestees have been identified as Manish Rajbahak of Kathmandu, Khim Bahadur Khadka of Sindhupalchowk and Sanjay Shrestha of Dhading.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Pawan Bhattarai said that a special team of Nepal Police has arrested three of them.

A few days ago, they had stolen Balen’s rented house at Sita Devi Gurung’s house in Maharajgunj.

All three are accused of theft.

According to the police, they escaped from Nakkhu prison during the Genji protest on September 24.
