Import of gas is being regularized, corporation should not store unnecessary

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has urged all not to store cooking gas unnecessarily.

Issuing a press release today, the NOC urged all to purchase LPG only when absolutely necessary and not to make unnecessary deposits.

According to NOC Spokesperson Manoj Kumar Thakur, an additional two thousand metric tonnes has been added to the quota for February to increase the import of LPG. Currently, around 110 bullets of cooking gas (LPG) is being imported on a daily basis.

According to NOC, some of the 23 LPG industries in the Kathmandu Valley are supplying around 40,000 cylinders in the market on a daily basis.
