Sunsari. KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Gagan Kumar Thapa has urged the party leaders to convert their trust in the party into votes.

Thapa made this appeal while addressing a gathering of party leaders and cadres at Jhumka in Sunsari constituency-2 on Tuesday.

President Thapa said, “You have trusted and loved the Congress and me. Now, I urge you to vote for Rajiv Koirala from this constituency. I’ll finish the rest.

President Thapa urged the party leaders and cadres to inform the people whether the party has fulfilled its promises.

“Tell the people whether the Congress has fulfilled its promise or not. He said, “I have come to trust you. We have fulfilled what we have said, the Congress has changed.

Stating that there was no situation to speak much at present due to the election code of conduct, he said the NC should work with a base to end corruption and good governance.
