Kathmandu. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, many places in the Tarai as well as the Kathmandu Valley are experiencing foggy weather as there is some influence of the Westerly wind in the country at present. The weather will be partly cloudy in the high hilly and mountainous region.

According to the weather forecast, there is possibility of foggy weather in some places of the Tarai region till noon today. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous areas while there will be generally cloudy in the rest of the hilly region and mainly fair in the Tarai region. Light rain and snowfall is likely at one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.

Similarly, there is possibility of fog in some places of Tarai tonight. There will be generally cloudy in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces while it will be mainly fair in the rest of the country. Light rain and snowfall is likely at one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous region of these provinces.

According to the Division, some places of Tarai will witness fog until noon and there is no possibility of immediate rain. The Division has urged the general public and all the stakeholders to stay safe in bad weather.
