Kathmandu. Nabil Bank has inaugurated modern digital lounge service at Nabil House, Kamaladi. The bank said in a statement that the bank has started this service to provide easy, fast and technology-friendly banking service to its customers.
Chairman Nirvana Kumar Chaudhary and Sarita Bhatta Adhikari, Director of the bank jointly inaugurated the new lounge amidst a program here today. The bank’s directors Prabin Tibrewala, Anil Keshary Shah, CEO Manoj Kumar Gyawali, Deputy CEO duo Bhupendra Pandey and Adarsha Bajgain, Deputy General Managers Ganesh Prasad Awasthi and Gyanendra Pratap Shah were present in the program.
Inaugurating the digital lounge, Chairman Chaudhary said that customers will now be able to do banking transactions digitally 24 hours a day. He further added that Nabil Bank has always excelled in innovation and digitization.
In the digital lounge, customers can withdraw cash from ATMs, deposit cash from cash deposit machines and deposit cheques digitally through kiosks. CEO Gyewali expressed his confidence that the multi-purpose digital service will be available in one place which will save time of customers and make service delivery more effective.
Earlier, Nabil Bank had similar digital lounge in its central office and Itahari. With this expansion of digital lounge service, Nabil Bank has further strengthened its journey towards digital banking, reducing the dependency on traditional counter based services. Nabil Bank aims to become a digital banking hub through customer convenience, service access, extension and effective use of technology.
Nabil Bank has been providing banking services through 268 branches and 321 ATMs across the country. The bank said it will continue to provide banking services to more than 25 lakh customers and join hands with all its stakeholders. The bank, which has been providing quality banking services for the past four decades, has recently adopted the concept of sustainable banking and brought into operation N-Bank for digital banking.
