Kathmandu. The stock market rose in the pre-open session on Wednesday. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index closed nearly 12 points higher in the pre-open session on Wednesday.

It rose 11.81 points to 2,673.96 points in the session. The sensitive index has increased by 2.34 points.

In the pre-open session on Wednesday, 29,939 units of shares worth Rs 1,17,23,819 were traded in 180 trades of 82 companies. Of them, the price of 55 companies has increased while the price of 18 companies has decreased. The prices of the remaining 9 companies remained stable in the session.
