AI-powered ‘Global Diary’ digital system launched

Kathmandu. Despite the availability of digital channels such as employment portals, online business platforms, news portals and business guidelines, there is a lack of adequate coordination, lack of reliable information and lack of long-term infrastructure.

Currently, businesses have to bear the cost of expensive digital marketing, high operating costs, website development and search engine optimization costs. The facility of citizens to easily access official service providers and government information in one place has been limited. Especially the new generation of youths have realized the need of a reliable digital platform at the national level even though the trend of seeking information through digital means is increasing.

Global Diary aims to connect citizens, businesses, and government entities in a reliable digital framework. Through this, citizens will be able to search for certified service providers, review and evaluate service materials and make decisions as per the need. Businesses will be able to scale up their digital presence, reduce marketing spend, and interact directly with customers. The government agencies can publish their information, programmes and activities in a structured manner.

The platform will offer social interaction, content sharing, news updates, job opportunities, listings of authorized seller services and products, consumer rating system, live chat service and an artificial intelligence-enabled content classification system. There will also be an arrangement to publish government information and reports officially.

The system is believed to provide small and medium businesses with cheaper digital marketing options, thereby reducing operating costs. Citizens will be able to compare certified vendors, choose quality service, save time and get information on products as per their budget. It is also believed that it will help the state to increase digital governance, transparent communication and citizen participation.

According to the company, the platform registration process has been completed and coordination is being made with various government agencies. In the coming days, business digital transformation tools, live information publishing systems, and more sophisticated artificial intelligence features will be expanded. All businesses, government agencies and citizens have been publicly called upon to join the Global Diary ecosystem.

The system introduced with the goal of expanding in the global arena will help solve business problems, promote easy access to official services and promote digital governance. Participants will be provided with smartphones, smart watches and the opportunity to participate in the College Representative Program through a lucky draw. In addition, authorized business organizations will receive free digital marketing training and government agencies will be able to participate in Digital Nepal campaign through their official page.
