Ballot papers to be printed by Sunday, up to 15 lakh daily

. The printing of ballot papers required for the election to the House of Representatives scheduled for March 4 has reached the final stage. The Janak Education Materials Centre is printing ballot papers.

“We have completed the printing of ballot papers in six provinces by this morning and started printing ballot papers required for Bagmati province,” he said.TAG_OPEN_div_24 Out of the total 20.03 million ballot papers, 17.3 million ballot papers have been printed. The remaining 30 lakh ballot papers will be printed by Sunday. ”

Stating that the printing of ballot papers was delayed for a few days in the districts with large number of candidates and small ballot papers in districts with fewer candidates, Managing Director Poudel said that the transportation of ballot papers has been started through the Nepal Army for the districts where the printing of ballot papers has been completed.TAG_OPEN_div_22

According to the center, the transportation of ballot papers to Salyan, Rukum West, Dolpa, Mugu, Humla, Kalikot, Jumla, Jajarkot, Dailekh and Surkhet districts of Karnali Province has already been completed.TAG_OPEN_div_18 The printing of ballot papers for 124 constituencies of 58 districts has been completed and transportation is underway.

The center has completed the printing of ballot papers in Dolpa, Mugu, Jumla, Kalikot, Humla, Jajarkot, Dailekh, Rukum (western part), Salyan, Surkhet, Bajura, Achham, Bajhang, Doti, Dadeldhura, Darchula, Baitadi, Kailali, Kanchanpur, Panchthar, Ilam, Tehrathum, Bhojpur, Okhaldhunga, Sunsari, Taplejung and Sankhuwasabha.TAG_OPEN_div_16

Similarly, the printing of ballot papers has been completed in Solukhumbu, Khotang, Dhankuta, Baglung, Gulmi, Jhapa, Gorkha, Myagdi, Parbat, Bardaghat Susta West (Nawalparasi), Morang, Udayapur, Mustang, Lamjung, Tanahun, Syangja, Bardiya, Rukum East, Dang, Banke, Nawalparasi (east of Bardaghat Susta), Palpa, Arghakhanchi, Pyuthan, Rupandehi, Rolpa, Manang, Ramechhap, Sindhuli, Rasuwa and Sindhupalchowk.TAG_OPEN_div_14
