Govt collects Rs 665 billion revenue in 7 months, Rs 87.66 billion in single month

. The government has collected Rs 665.02 billion in revenue in the first seven months of the current fiscal year 2082/83.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the government has collected Rs 665 TAG_OPEN_div_18.02 billion in revenue till February 12. This is 3.45 percent more than the same period last year. The government had collected Rs 642.85 billion in revenue in the same period last year.

The government had set a target of collecting Rs 813 TAG_OPEN_div_16.63 billion in revenue by mid-February. The government has collected only 81.61 per cent of the revenue so far.

Similarly, the government has collected Rs 135 TAG_OPEN_div_14.32 billion in customs duty during the period. The government had set a target of collecting Rs 170.50 billion. This amount is 79.37 percent of the target.

Similarly, Rs TAG_OPEN_div_12 196.44 billion revenue has been collected from Value Added Tax (VAT). The government had set a target of collecting Rs 217.21 billion during the period.

The government has collected Rs 105.TAG_OPEN_div_10 43 billion as excise duty. It had set a target of collecting Rs 115.98 billion.
