Kathmandu. The stock market has fallen slightly. The index that measures the market decreased by 8.16 points to sit at 2,662.91 points.

A total of 1,96,16,395 units of shares of 335 companies worth Rs 7.94 billion were traded. The sub-indices of the financial, hotel, production and processing group increased while the sub-indices of the rest of the sub-indices decreased.

The prices of 86 companies increased while the prices of 163 companies declined. The prices of Buddhabhumi Nepal Hydropower, Reliance Spinning Mills and Salapa Development Bank were in the positive circuit.

Radhi Power Company is in the first position on the basis of transaction amount. The company’s turnover stood at Rs 653,03,22,163. Likewise, Akhukhola Hydropower Company and Ngadi Group Power are in the second and third positions.
