Kathmandu. Citizen Investment Trust has received ‘A’ plus rating. ICRA (ICRA) Nepal has given it an ‘A’ plus rating.

The company has assigned ICRANP-IR ‘A Plus’ rating to the fund. The recipient of this rating is considered to be an institution with adequate security in terms of timely service of financial obligations. The decision was taken by the evaluation committee of ICRA Nepal.

The Citizen Investment Trust established in 1991 started its service on January 14, 2048. The Fund has been running various programmes such as Employees Savings Increment Retirement Fund, Gratuity and Pension Scheme, Investors Retirement Fund Scheme, National Employees Life Insurance Fund, Citizen Unit Scheme, Citizen Pension Scheme and Nepal Agricultural Research Council Insurance Fund.

Currently, there are more than 7 lakh participants in the fund.
