Govt plans to create 15 lakh jobs in next five years: Thapa

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa has said the government has set a target to create 15 lakh jobs for Nepali youths in the next five years.

He said that the NC has prepared a resolution paper to give continuity to the mission of employment and to create employment under the fundamental rights enshrined in the constitution.

He said that he has resolved to create employment in agriculture, tourism, physical infrastructure, information technology and other sectors.

“We will make programmes for 5,000 youths, whether it is in parliament or in government,” he said. We have made a program about this. ’

He said that the Congress has a plan to make the youth respect digital freedom and creativity. “Today’s youth have a lot of art, literature and creation. They have created it. But you can’t find it in the market to sell it,” he said. We are clear about this. ’

He also stressed on the need for youth to develop skills and creativity. He said, “No young man or girl should go after the education or skill he is studying and become useless.” In order to keep him proficient, it is necessary to give more dynamism to the skills he is studying. Because now the market is competitive. ’

He said that the government has also planned to bring skilled manpower in an institutional manner along with brain drain. According to him, a plan has been prepared on how to create an environment for the youths who have migrated abroad to work in an institutional manner in Nepal.
