Kathmandu. Releasing the affidavit, the Nepali Congress has pledged to provide seed capital ranging from Rs 5 to Rs 5 million to Rs 5 million as collateral of the project to the youths with new ideas and projects.
The government will implement 25 per cent subsidy, 50 per cent concessional loan and 25 per cent self-investment model for youth entrepreneurs. In order to reduce the burden of high interest rates, special grants will be provided and start-ups will not only be provided capital but will also be involved in necessary technical advice and mentorship programs.
Similarly, the government will adopt a policy to give priority to government procurement for the marketing of goods and services produced by start-ups of young entrepreneurs. It has stated that it will encourage private investors to invest in the business of youths working in Nepal by providing special facilities.
