Kathmandu. MAKWANPUR: At least 22 passengers were injured when a passenger bus met with an accident at Bijauna of Manahari rural municipality-7 in Makwanpur district this morning.

Spokesperson at the District Police Office, Makawanpur, Deputy Superintendent of Police Pushkar Bogati said that 22 passengers were injured when a passenger bus (Bapr. 06-001 Kha 0054) en route to Chitwan from Birgunj lost control and hit an electric pole on the left side of the road.

The injured have been rescued and sent to Chitwan Hospital for treatment, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bogati.
