Kathmandu. National Life Insurance Company (NLIC) has celebrated its 39th anniversary in a week-long manner.
Inaugurating the closing ceremony held at Hotel Hyatt Centric in Kathmandu, Prema Rajya Laxmi Singh expressed her gratitude to all the employees, agents, insured, well-wishers, stakeholders and everyone who played a major role in making the company reach the top position.
She said that the company has been paying special attention to make the employees more proficient in technology with the objective of promoting the business by providing high quality and accessible service to the service recipients and in this context, all the administrative staff of the company have been provided extensive training on Artificial Intelligence. She also said that such training will continue.
Speaking on the occasion, CEO Suresh Prasad Khatri expressed his confidence that the company has been able to establish its identity due to the direct and indirect support and goodwill of all the employees, agents, insured and other stakeholders. He also expressed his gratitude to the regulatory bodies and other concerned agencies for their guidance and support.
On the occasion, the company distributed educational materials to Matri Nepal Balguha Tarkeshwor and also organized food and blood donation programs.
According to him, various types of sports competitions such as men’s and women’s cricket, futsal, table tennis and chess have been organized with the objective of making the employees physically and mentally strong and capable by involving them in the internal activities.
President Prema Rajya Laxmi Singh handed over medals and certificates to the employees who donated blood and gave away tokens of love to the employees who donated their dance.
