Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court (SC) has issued an order to bring the file of habeas corpus application filed by medical practitioner Durga Prasai. A division bench of Justices Nahakul Subedi and Meghraj Pokharel issued the order to bring the files from the Office of the Attorney General.

The order was issued on the basis of the written reply sent by the District Police Range during the hearing on the writ of habeas corpus filed on behalf of Prasain.

Earlier, Prasai, who was arrested on February 23, was released on bail.
