Kathmandu. Today’s meeting of the Council of Ministers has taken 7 different decisions.

Spokesperson of the government Om Prakash Aryal said that the meeting held today took 7 different decisions. It has decided to accept the proposed cash grant assistance of 4 million US dollars from the Chinese government for the elections to the House of Representatives.

The meeting also decided to approve the financial investment structure of Budhigandaki Reservoir-based Hydropower Project as mentioned in the budget and programmes allocated for the current fiscal year.

According to him, the meeting decided to appoint Kathmandu District Court District Judge Diwakar Bhatta as the chairperson of the Consumer Court Kathmandu to look after the work of the Kathmandu District Court.

Similarly, the meeting decided to assign the District Court to take action and settle the cases related to the offence as per Section 140 of the Insurance Act, 2079.

Similarly, the cabinet has decided to declare a public holiday for a year from April 15, 2083 to mid-April and a three-day public holiday throughout the country from March 4 to 22 for the election to the members of the House of Representatives, 2082.
