Bagmati. A person died when a motorcyclist met with an accident at Bagmati rural municipality-8 in Makwanpur district along the Madan Bhandari Highway this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Prem Bahadur Gole, 40, of Bakaiya Rural Municipality-8 in Makwanpur district when the motorcycle (Pra 3-02-005 Pa 1008) en route to Hattisude from Phaparbari fell into the canal on Monday night, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Pushkar Bogati.

Gole, who was critically injured in the accident, died while undergoing treatment at Hetauda Hospital, police said.
