Kathmandu. The government has also made arrangements allowing the operation of vehicles for the movement of tourists by taking permission at least two days in advance on the day of election to the House of Representatives.

The ‘Vehicle Permit Procedure, 2082’ issued by the Election Commission has made provision for the operation of tourist vehicles as no national or international flights will be stopped on the day of the election. Spokesperson of the Commission, Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, said that arrangements have been made for the operation of vehicles in the movement of tourists by taking permission from the concerned District Administration Office and the Commission in Kathmandu at least two days in advance.

Likewise, provisions have been made in the work procedure to systematize the movement of vehicles to be operated on the highway. Except for essential services, diplomatic missions and human rights commission, any other type of vehicle can be used with permission.
