Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Asian Life Insurance Company (LIC) has paid Rs 1,29,41,670 as salary to its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in the last fiscal year.

The salary and allowances of CEOs have increased in the last fiscal year as compared to the previous year. In the previous fiscal year, it was Rs 1,19,90,213.

In the last fiscal year, the company had paid Rs 93,63,275 as salary and allowances to the CEO. Similarly, Rs 22,27,651 has been paid as bonus and Rs 1,350,744 as other fees.

On an average, the state has to pay 39 percent of the salary and allowances.

In the last fiscal year, the insurance company has paid Rs 13.94 lakh as allowance to the directors. The company provides Rs 14,000 to the chairman and Rs 12,000 to the director of the company.

Sushant Chachan, Achyut Raj Sapkota, Saurav Rungta, Shila Rajbhandari and Hem Bahadur Karki are the directors of the company. Dinesh Lal Shrestha is the CEO of the company.
