Dang. CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, who is contesting the House of Representatives election from Dang constituency-2, has made public five resolutions to do so within five years if elected to the House of Representatives.

He pledged to bring transformation in 5 sectors namely economic, educational, health, technology and good governance.

Pokharel unveiled a resolution on ‘Five Revolutions in Five Years’ here today. He presented a plan to advance economic and infrastructure revolution through employment generation, road, irrigation and industrial expansion.

He has pledged to give priority to the expansion of digital education along with quality education and skill-oriented programs. It is stated in the resolution that easy and quality treatment in health services, hospitals equipped with modern equipment and special health services would be provided in the villages.

Unveiling his resolutions, Pokharel pledged to develop Dang as a model district from the economic, social and administrative point of view. He said he now wants to play a role in national politics as a people’s representative of Dang district. “Now, the people of Dang should not be in the place where they submit the memorandum, but in the place where they understand,” he said. ”
