Baglung. Voters have urged the candidates going to Jaimini area of Baglung to seek votes to bring a policy to control monkeys by winning the election.

Voters have complained that it is difficult for the candidates to stay in the village due to monkey menace when they reached the village to seek votes for the election to the House of Representatives scheduled for March 4.

Kumari Thapa of Jaimini Municipality-5 said that the monkeys have started living in the houses in the village after the village became empty due to migration. According to him, the monkeys have destroyed all the crops planted in the garden and everything kept in the house. Thapa said that all the neighboring markets have come down and the leaders who create an environment to live in the village should be elected.

“Monkeys have made it difficult to live in the village, neither do the crops in the garden grow well, nor are the things kept in the house safe, how can we live in the village in such a situation?” she said, adding, “The first people did not develop but the market has fallen, now there is development, but due to monkeys, we have to leave the village. ”

Local Pratima Poudel said that children and elderly people are facing problems in living alone in the village. According to him, monkeys that used to live in the forest have started living in the village nowadays and come to attack children and the elderly. She complained that she was compelled to leave the house with one ÷ two family members while going to the fair.

She said, “Monkeys have been terrorizing the village for the last five years, all the people who eat in the village have gone to the cities and markets, the people in the village are from the same normal families.

Tam Bahadur BK of Bareng-1 said that he would vote for the leaders who understand the people’s demands and needs. He said that many leaders are coming to ask for votes. He said that this time he will vote for the candidate who understands the problems of the farmers.
