Damn. CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that the government has not yet been able to create an environment conducive for free and fair elections.
He said the country was pushed towards crisis after the country’s sovereign parliament was dissolved by force.
Speaking at a student programme organized by the All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU) at Damak of Jhapa on Friday, he said that the UML went for the election to get rid of the crisis facing the country.
Stating that the party was focused on the elections throughout the country as the UML would not run away from the elections, Oli said that UML would become the number one force in the upcoming elections and solve the problems facing the country.
Also the former Prime Minister, Oli said that any kind of rigging in the election would not be acceptable to the UML. He also said that the government is not serious about making the elections fair and rigging-free.
Speaking on the occasion, he urged the youths not to fall prey to the illusion of spreading through various mediums and to work to dispel such illusions.
On the occasion, young students put various queries to Chairman Oli. Responding to their queries, he said that the role a party plays and what it does would be determined by its principles, programmes and agenda.
