Kathmandu. The Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Nikkei) has bid farewell to Harkirat Singh Bedi, Business Head of Dabur Nepal.
The association bid farewell to Bedi amidst a program organized in Kathmandu on Thursday.
On the occasion, Acting President of the Association Kunal Kayal said that Bedi had played a significant role in strengthening the dialogue and trust environment between the private sector and Nepal. He said Dabur Nepal has been continuously contributing to Nepal’s economy.
Bedi also served as the Vice President of Dabur Association and Convenor of the India Business Forum.
The office-bearers of the NRNA said that remarkable progress has been made in expanding institutional cooperation, promoting ethical professional practices and enhancing cooperation between the Nepal-India private sector during his tenure.
On the occasion, NRNA General Secretary Rajan Sharma expressed gratitude to Bedi for his contribution to the NRNA and the overall Nepali economy. He noted that Bedi’s leadership in trade facilitation and corporate social responsibility initiatives has been positive and effective.
Likewise, IBF Co-Convenor Saibal Ghosh said that as Vice President and IBF Coordinator, Bedi provided the able leadership to build consensus and advance strategic priorities.
On the occasion, IBF Coordinator Gaurav Tayal welcomed Bijay Ameta to his new assignment. The association between Dabur Nepal and the association will be further strengthened under Ameta’s leadership.
The association also reiterated its commitment to continue working closely with Dabur Nepal. Dabur Nepal, recognized by the government as the largest taxpayer company towards exports, has been playing an important role in promoting bilateral trade, investment and economic cooperation.
