PM Oli urges government to take necessary steps for security of Nepalis in Middle East

. KATHMANDU: CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has expressed concern over increasing incidents in the Middle East of late.

He also urged Nepalis in various countries of the Middle East, including the United Arab Emirates, Israel, Iran and others, to stay safe.

He also requested the embassies and government in London to take immediate steps for the safety of Nepalis living abroad.

“The recent tensions in the Middle East have deeply disturbed us,” he wrote on Facebook. I urge Nepali sisters and brothers in the UAE, Israel, Iran and Middle Eastern countries to stay safe and alert, urging the Nepali Embassy in UAE and the Government of Nepal to be immediately mobilized for the safety of Nepali citizens. ’’
