Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The government is to provide security to Nepali nationals stranded at airports of different countries in the Middle East.

The meeting of the Council of Ministers held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar today decided to make arrangements to keep the airports in the places where they are, saying all the airports which are closed for the time being.

The government has instructed the Nepali embassies in the Middle East countries to remain on high alertness and continuously monitor the condition of Nepali citizens.

Giving information about the meeting, he said, “The situation is not normal, all the airports are closed for now and no one can be brought back. Minister Sharma said that an official travel advisory has been issued for the area.

Stating that contacting the ambassador has been contacted to take Nepali citizens to their destinations and those unable to go there have been managed at hotels, he said coordination has been made so that the company providing the related business or the airlines will look after the care. Minister Sharma said that the meeting discussed the problems faced by Nepali citizens and the solutions.
