He said that this election should be taken as a referendum as it will decide nationalist and anti-national factions. Former Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli is interacting with voters of his constituency Jhapa-5 as the House of Representatives election on March 4 is approaching.

Speaking at a programme organised at Damak-1 today, he said the upcoming election should be taken as a referendum and not just a general election. He said that the people will decide the nationalist and anti-national factions from this election.

Stating that those who are trying to push the country into chaos and cause instability are trying to become active, UML Chairman Oli said that such people should be stopped forever from the upcoming elections. Stating that it was necessary for the nationalist forces to win the upcoming elections to prevent Nepal from becoming a parade venue for foreigners, he said that the UML was leading the nationalist forces.
