Kathmandu. On Sunday, the first trading day of the week, the stock market rose by double digits. Today, the NEPSE index increased by 19.27 points to close at 2,674.20 points. Likewise, the sensitive float index increased by 3.22 points, while the float index increased by 1.26 points and the sensitive float index increased by 0.95 points.
Today, along with the stock market, the trading volume has also increased. Shares worth Rs 4.17 billion were traded on the previous trading day on Thursday, while shares worth Rs 5.64 billion were traded.
The indices of all 13 sub-groups increased today. Likewise, the index of the finance sub-group increased the most by 2.22 percent. Today, the share prices of both companies were traded at positive circuit levels. Shares of Salapa Development Bank and Reliance Spinning Mills were traded at the positive circuit level today. Shares of Him Star Energy Company were the biggest losers in today’s trade, falling 4.16 percent.
On the basis of transaction amount, Radhi Power Company is in the top position on this day. The company’s shares worth Rs 36.05 crore were traded on the day. Similarly, shares of Api Power Company worth Rs 33 crore were traded today while Manjushree Finance had a turnover of Rs 28 crore.
