Persa. The Government of India has handed over 30 one-ton vehicles targeting the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives.

Consul General of Nepal Devi Sahay Meena formally handed over 30 trucks and other election materials to Chief District Officer Bhola Dahal at the Consulate General of India in Birgunj.

The Embassy said the assistance was provided at the request of the Government of Nepal to support the preparations for the upcoming elections. On the occasion, Chief District Officer Dahal expressed gratitude to the Government of India for handing over election related materials on time.

Before this, the Government of India had handed over 580 vehicles and other materials to the Government of Nepal as part of election assistance.
