Lumbini. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RPP) has taken the lead in Rupandehi House of Representatives constituency-2.
According to the election results released by the Office of the Election Officer, out of 14,986 votes out of 15,413 votes counted, Sulav Kharel of the Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) is leading with 10,519 votes.
CPN-UML’s Bishnu Prasad Poudel received 2,193 votes while NC’s Chunnu Prasad Poudel got 1,204 votes. Of the total 135,050 voters in the constituency, 86,510 votes were cast.
