RSP’s Dangi takes lead in Jhapa-1 ahead of Labour and Culture Party

Cover. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Nisha Dangi has been elected to the House of Representatives from Jhapa constituency-1.

Out of 3,779 votes counted, Dangi secured 1,702 votes, election officer Gopi Bishwakarma said. CPN-UML’s Ram Chandra Upreti and CPN-UML’s Ram Chandra Upreti got 525 votes, Labor Culture Party candidate Kewalram Rai got 775 votes, NC’s Keshav Raj Pandey got 525 votes and CPN-UML’s Ram Chandra Upreti got 405 votes.

Out of the total 131,067 voters in the constituency, 76,774 votes were cast, according to the Office of the Election Officer.
