Claiming that not even a drop of blood has been shed due to political violence since the formation of the government, he said that no violent incidents were allowed in the election process.

Commenting after the elections, Home Minister Aryal said that the election would safeguard the country, constitution and humanity. He claimed that the country, constitution and humanity would be at risk if the election was not held.

“This election has given guarantee of protecting humanity, country and constitution,” he said, adding, “Our country, constitution and humanity would have been at risk had the election not been held.” ”

Aryal claimed that this time’s election was conducted in a qualitative manner compared to the previous elections. Stating that the main expectation of the government was to hold a strong and systematic election, he said that this goal has been achieved.

According to him, although there was a possibility of clashes in some places during the election, the voting was conducted under control due to the promptness and management of the security personnel. “Except in a few places, there were no violent clashes. Even in the places where we wanted to happen, we prevented it in time and kept it under control,” he said.

Recalling that in the past elections, there was a situation of postponement of voting in many places and re-election, Minister Aryal said this time the voting was held in a single election across the country. According to him, there was no need to postpone the voting anywhere.

He pointed out the need to further strengthen the standards of political governance. “We need to raise and strengthen the standards of political governance, so that future governments do not break them,” he said.

Home Minister Aryal said the government had mobilized the election management and security mechanism with the same goal and expectation, adding that the democratic exercise would be further strengthened in the days ahead.
