Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Ganesh Poudel has been elected from Rautahat Municipality-4. He garnered 36,876 votes.
His nearest rival was NC’s Dev Prasad Timilsina who got 15,865 votes. Poudel defeated Timilsina by a margin of over 21,000 votes.
Similarly, Ram Kumar Bhattarai of CPN (UML) and Ramji Sah Sonar of CPN-UML got Rs 9,778 and Rs 3,478 respectively.
