Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Dipak Raj Bohara has been elected from Kanchanpur-2.
He defeated Nepali Congress (NC) leader NP Saud by 23,000 votes. Bohara garnered 33,952 votes. Saud got 10,827 votes.
Similarly, CPN-UML’s Bachan Bahadur Singh garnered 6,418 votes while Madhav Prasad Pant of Nepali Communist Party got 6,337 votes.
