Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP)’s Bikram Khanal has been elected as the mayor of Nawalparasi-1.
Khanal garnered 45,241 votes. Similarly, Binod Kumar Chaudhary of Nepali Congress has been defeated. Chaudhary got 9,502 votes.
Likewise, Ram Prasad Pandey of CPN-UML got 7,956 votes, Hayesh Tripathi of Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal got 7,832 votes and Rastriya Prajatantra Party’s Naveen Kumar Mishra got 1,593 votes.
