Baitadi. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Hari Mohan Bhandari has been elected to the House of Representatives. He garnered 22,134 votes to win the election to the House of Representatives.
His nearest rival was NC’s Chatur Bahadur Chand who got 18,194 votes.
Damodar Bhandari, who had won the CPN-UML for three consecutive terms before this, fell to the third position this time.
He garnered 17,091 votes. A total of 73,148 voters cast their votes in the district, according to the Office of the Chief Election Officer.
