Sarlahi. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Narendra Sah Kalwar has been elected to the House of Representatives from Sarlahi-3.
He garnered 46,890 votes against 13,338 votes of Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) candidate Narayan Kaji Shrestha, according to election officer Nawaraj Acharya. Sah of the Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) was leading in this constituency from the initial round of vote counting.
Newly-elected Sah won with a margin of 33,552 votes. As per the election results, CPN-UML’s Hari Prasad Upreti got 5,776 votes, Nepali Congress candidate Binod Khanal got 6,624 votes and Ujyalo Nepal Party’s Tribhuvan Kumar Singh got 2,622 votes.
