Mahottari. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Ujjwal Kumar Jha has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Mahottari-3.

He garnered 32,451 votes, according to Chief Election Officer Madhav Prasad Adhikari.

His nearest rival Muhammad Rizwan of Nepal Federal Socialist Party got 5,969 votes.

Independent candidate Ramadhar Kapar garnered 4,790 votes while Nepali Congress candidate Bajrang Nepali garnered 4,324 votes, according to the Office of the Chief Election Officer.

In Mahottari, Pramod Kumar Mahato and Dipak Kumar Sah of Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) have been elected in constituency 1 and 2 respectively.
