Sirha. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Shambhu Kumar Yadav has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Siraha-3.
Election Officer of the constituency, Dr Shree Prakash Uprety, said that Yadav got 32,249 votes to win the election.
Yadav’s nearest rival was CPN-UML’s Lilanath Shrestha who got 10,156 votes. Likewise, Bishwanath Sah of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) got 9,942 votes and Subhash Chandra Yadav of Nepali Congress got 9,879 votes.
Out of a total of 119,250 voters, 76,430 votes were cast in this constituency. A total of 41 candidates including various political parties and independents are in the fray.
