Kathmandu. KATHMANDU — Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) senior leader Balendra (Balen) Shah has submitted the expenditure details of the House of Representatives election to the Election Commission (EC). On Monday, he presented details of his campaign expenses.
He has spent Rs 14,17,289 during the election campaign. The election expenditure details mention the expenditure under various headings.
According to the report, the airline has spent Rs 293,800 on airfare for renting eight vehicles for 15 days. Similarly, Rs 35,000 was spent on air travel in five installments.
According to the data, Rs 28,970 was spent on the food of 55 people for the voter training programme. Similarly, Rs 5.80 lakh was spent in the 15-day door-to-door campaign at the ward level.
A total of Rs 49,850 was spent on printing model ballot papers for Balen’s election campaign. It has stated that Rs 120,000 was spent on water expenses and Rs 22,820 for stationery expenses while running the election regional offices for two months.
It shows that Rs 157,041 was spent on the purchase of publicity materials and paper and printing while Rs 119,808 was spent on banners and stickers. It is stated that Rs 10,000 was spent as nomination registration fee.
