Kathmandu. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a telephonic conversation with Rastriya Swatantra Party (RPP) President Ravi Lamichhane and senior leader Balendra Shah (Balen) today.
The Indian Prime Minister congratulated Nepal on winning a majority in the recently held elections and said that India is ready to work with the new government. The new government will be formed by the first week of March.
The RSP had elected Balen as the prime minister. According to the report, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has won 125 seats in the FPTP and around two-thirds of the proportional representation (PR) seats.
