Kathmandu. CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel has made public his election expenses.

Pokharel, who is contesting from Dang constituency-2, submitted his election expenditure details to the Election Commission today, states that Rs 1.75 million was spent on the election expenses.

According to him, Rs 50,000 was spent on purchasing voters’ list, Rs 350,000 for vehicles, Rs 300,000 for vehicle fuel (including feed for horses), Rs 150,000 for publicity materials, Rs 150,000 for transportation and Rs 150,000 for seminars and interactions.

Similarly, Rs 200,000 has been allocated for other publicity, print and electronic media, Rs 150,000 for office operation, Rs 100,000 for delegate mobilization and Rs 150,000 for miscellaneous expenditure.
