Stock market trades over Rs 14.5 billion

Kathmandu. On Thursday, the last day of the week, the stock market was green. The NEPSE index increased by 23.87 points to close at 2820.44 points.

According to NEPSE, 416,86,405 units of shares of 335 companies were traded for Rs 14.TAG_OPEN_div_16 55 billion worth Rs 14.55 billion today after 130,015 units were traded.

Hotel and tourism decreased by 0.35 percent, non-life insurance by 0.04 percent and other sub-indices by 0.74 percent.TAG_OPEN_div_14 The banking group was the biggest gainer, rising 2.02 percent. Development Bank increased by 1.28 per cent, Finance by 1.30 per cent, hydropower by 1.10 per cent and investment by 1.14 per cent.

Similarly, life insurance (0.TAG_OPEN_div_12.36 per cent, production and processing (0.73 per cent), microfinance (0.27 per cent) and mutual funds (0.48 per cent) have also increased.

The share prices of Salpa Development Bank Limited and Reliance Spinning Mills Limited have hit the positive circuit.TAG_OPEN_div_10 Kumari Sabal Yojana’s share price fell by 3.72 percent.
