Kathmandu. Rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and a military conflict between Israel, the United States and Iran have raised concerns about the impact on global energy supply systems. Oil supplies in international markets are likely to be unstable as major sea routes for oil and gas shipments are disrupted.
Its impact has been seen in South Asia as well as in Nepal. In Nepal, which is completely dependent on imports, fluctuations in the international energy market are likely to have a direct impact on the gas supply system. In recent days, there has been a growing interest in alternative cooking appliances as consumers rush to gas depots and shops and fears that supply uncertainty may lead to a rise.
Meanwhile, international home appliance brand Media has introduced the modern technology-based Induction Hub as an alternative solution for gas in the Nepali market. According to the company, the induction hub, which is powered by electromagnetic technology, helps cook food in a fast, safe and energy-efficient manner.
The media induction hubs are equipped with modern features like touch control and push button control system, large cooking zone, temperature control system, timer setting, energy saving technology, overheating protection and multi-safety system. The low-volume design and the structure that can accommodate a variety of utensils make everyday use even more convenient.
Currently, there are five different media induction hubs available in the Nepali market: MC-SCLC-22W-15, MC-VS213R-EMC, RTY-2014, SKY-1914 and MC-3D3001R212. These models come with different power capacities and all products come with a 24-month warranty.
