Kathmandu. Employees of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) have been on strike for the 172nd day. The employees, who resumed their agitation on Thursday, continued their agitation on Friday.
KATHMANDU — The agitation that was halted due to the election code of conduct in the House of Representatives has resumed from Thursday. According to the Securities Board of Nepal Employees Union, the protest has been held for 1 hour every day on Friday morning.
“The 2082-1127 Working Committee of the Securities Board of Nepal Employees Union (SEBON) has decided to continue the sit-in and pendown program for one hour every day from 10:00 am to 11:00 am from 2082-11-28 as the protest and pawn down program has been postponed for one hour every day due to the code of conduct implemented for the election of the House of Representatives,” reads the press release.
