The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Meteorological Forecasting Division said light rain accompanied with thunder and lightning is taking place at some places of Gandaki Province and at one or two places of Koshi and Bagmati Province.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous areas of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and partly cloudy in the rest of the country towards the afternoon. Light rain will occur in some places while light snowfall is predicted in high hilly and mountainous area. Light rain or thunder likely to occur at some places of the hilly region of Koshi, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and at one or two places of the Tarai region of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Similarly, tonight, there will be generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous region including Koshi, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. Moderate rain will occur in some places while light snowfall is predicted in high hilly and mountainous area. Likewise, moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at some places of the hilly region of Koshi, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and at a few places of the hilly region of the rest of the provinces. Likewise, moderate rain along with thunder and lightning is likely at one or two places of Koshi, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.
